I sew to express myself creatively. As an environmentally conscious artist, I embrace upcycling and refashioning existing items as a way to combat “fast fashion.” I also design for clients with the same interest in sustainability.

My Sewing Journal

Since I’ve started sewing I’ve been trying to document the work I’ve done. Over the years I have compiled photos, videos, sketches, etc. I’m currently in the process of saving all of this evidence.

My Sewing Journal Pinterest Board has photos and videos of the work process for my projects. To date, the bulk of my projects are here. I’m still adding to this archive as I find more items on phones, cameras, and computers. Eventually, I will add everything including my handwritten notes and project briefs as blog posts (below). This is a personal endeavor but I’m sharing it for other curious sewists and upcyclers.
